This is an extraordinary opportunity for a professional home to acquire one of the most anticipated thoroughbreds to retire from racing in some time. Zarzeus is a dapple brown 7 yo gelding, towering well over 16.2hh. Always turning heads and commanding attention and enquiries at the races, he has a sensible disposition and is an outstanding type which is a rarity in a horse so big. He loves attention and has been no problem temperament wise through his entire career, is sound and he has only had one trainer his entire racing life so his full history is well known. This horse is for sale through no fault of his own, except that he is capable of a show career far beyond what we can offer him at this time. He is half brother to the Cox Plate bound and dual Group One winner Sincero, but he is for sale strictly to a show home and not to be raced. This has been a very special horse for many reasons to our stable, we would love to see him go on to a new career and to win the Pope Cup for which he is tailor made! He must go to a home that is capable of producing him to the Grand National level we know he is destined for. It also must be said that he is a very big horse and is not suited to travelling on a float, so a home with a truck is recommended. He is offered for sale, an inspection will not disappoint!
